Random Encounters

While traveling across the world map, players will be subject to random encounters, unless they are flying a Soarwhale.

If a random encounter occurs, the players can make a Nature check (DC 20+ Encounter Level) to assess the encounter. If every party member is mounted there will be a +10 to this Nature check.

If successful, players can see the enemy ahead of time and decide to fight or avoid the encounter.

While traveling along the Neutral Zone (Avandra's Road) it is impossible to have a random encounter. While crossing into various countries or mountains expect an encounter or two.
